Biography
I, Thomas Seiwald, was born in 1970 in Kuchl, a small village near Salzburg. It was quite early when I got acquainted with the products of world literature and started, first of all without any honourable intentions, to write small pieces of literature and short stories.
After my exam and some time in administration, I went for extensive educational trips that led me to many places of our planet. As time went by, I felt the most severely attracted by poetry, so that finally I started to pursue my goals with the most serious ambitions. Adopting an ancestral name of my family, I decided to publish my literature henceforth under the pseudonym Thomas von Kienperg. Besides poetry, I deal a lot with subjects on science and faith.
Much of my leisure I devote to physical exercise, and I spend plenty of time out in the nature. A few years ago I founded, together with some friends, a union of poetic philosophers named Dritte Stoa. The purpose of all my efforts is to make the good and the graceful the determining principles of my art in particular and of my existence in general. On all of my paths I therefore met people sharing my thoughts and emotions and who have also the courage to confess what they stand for. The latter is, at least from my point of view, the most indispensable to alter the world, if just to a very small extent, to the positive. Thus, one of the most important maxims in my life is the bible’s Golden Rule: “In everything, treat others as you would want them to treat you!”
